What a premix batch document pack should contain
The right document pack helps procurement, quality and production teams refer to the same material, specification and batch.
Section 01
The agreed specification
The commercial specification should identify the product, relevant parameters, agreed limits, storage and pack details. It becomes the reference point for the batch release conversation.
Section 02
Batch-specific release evidence
The Certificate of Analysis should map clearly to the supplied lot. Supporting records depend on the product, market and agreed scope.
- Product and batch identity
- Applicable result or conformity fields
- Manufacture and retest/expiry information where applicable
- Authorised release reference
Section 03
Traceability and supporting documents
Specifications, safety information, origin or compliance declarations and transport documents should be agreed against the buyer’s qualification checklist.
